Student Choreography Showcase

Dress Rehearsal: 2:00pm-5:30pm
Performance: 6:30pm
Tiffin Columbian High School Auditorium
The Student Choreography Showcase is a unique experience for student dancers to choreograph their own dance piece. The students work in a workshop model starting in the fall with the performance happening in the spring. Each student will have several opportunities to workshop their piece with both the instructor and their peers, offering a growth experience for young artists. Choreographers are responsible for not only the choreography but the lighting and costuming of their dances as well as all rehearsals.
Students enrolled in one of the following classes are eligible to sign up:
Ballet – 6 and Advanced
Modern – 3 and Advanced
Tap – 5 and Advanced
Jazz – 5 and Advanced
Advanced Hip-Hop
Students are responsible for the choreography and rehearsals of their pieces (dancers do not have to be Dance Unlimited students)

Workshop dates
11/07/21 from 10am-12:
Choreographers only
You will not be showing any of your dance piece
Sign up for 12/5/21 time slot
12/5/21 starting at 10am:
One 20-minute time slot per piece
Show or discuss what is done so far
Sunday 2/13/22 from 12-3:
Perform pieces for the group and receive feedback
Sign up for a 3/27/22 time slot
Sunday 3/27/21 starting at 12:
20-minute time slot per piece
If needed sign-up for one final meeting for the week of 4/18/22
