Dance Studio in Tiffin, OH

Dance Unlimited has been a cornerstone of the Tiffin, Ohio, community since 1981, offering professional, personalized dance instruction for students of all ages. As a long-standing dance studio in Tiffin, we take pride in our small class sizes, which allow every dancer to receive the individual attention they need to grow with confidence and creativity.

Our dedicated instructors have professional dance experience and/or formal training in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. They bring passion, expertise, and mentorship to every class, whether you're enrolling a toddler in their first dance class or helping a teen refine their performance skills.

Each year, we celebrate our students’ progress through our highly anticipated annual dance recital, where every dancer, from beginner to advanced, has the chance to perform on stage. Our graduating seniors and advanced-level dancers are also featured in extended performances that highlight their dedication and talent.

Rachel Hummel-Sass

Studio Director & Advanced Modern Instructor

Rachel returned to Dance Unlimited in 2014, when she reinvented the Modern program. She danced with Dance Unlimited for 15 years, taking ballet and jazz, and continued her dance training at Oberlin College, receiving a degree in modern dance and choreography.

Kathy Miller

Ballet 3, 4, 6, Advanced, and Adult Instructor

Kathy has been with Dance Unlimited for 20+ years, currently with the ballet program. Additionally, she serves as a repeiteur and guest instructor with the Chance to Dance Academy of Ballet in Findlay, OH, and the Read to Succeed Mentorship Coordinator at Krout Elementary School.

Avery Perry

Hip Hop 1, 2, advanced, Ballet & Jazz 1 Instructor

Avery has been dancing with Dance Unlimited since 2009, training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, and musical theater. She began assisting classes in 2020 and stepped into a teaching role in 2022. Avery has choreographed for Heidelberg University’s Community Music School and is a student at BGSU.

Alexandria Smith

Jazz 3, Jazz 4, Modern Contemporary 1, Tumbling & Pom Instructor

Alex danced with Dance Unlimited for 14 years, taking ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop. She also performed a duet for trideaDANCE at the Ritz Theatre in the Spring of 2018. Alex has remained at the dance studio since 2018, teaching modern and jazz, in a variety of age levels.

Julie Webb

Ballet 5 Instructor

Julie has been with Dance Unlimited since 1982, when she took ballet classes and had additional ballet training with Mr. Ernst Hillenbrand at Heidelberg University. Julie has taught numerous levels of ballet since 1987. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for 40+ years.

Olivia Webb

Ballet 2 and Jazz 2 Instructor & Marketing Director

Olivia with Dance Unlimited since the age of three. She began assisting in 2018 and teaching in 2020. She has trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance through Dance Unlimited and master classes. She served as Choreography Chair for her college sorority. Olivia holds a Master's degree in Business.

Hanna Wyman

Advanced Tap

Hanna danced with Dance Unlimited for nine years, primarily in tap. She began assisting classes as a student and has taught various levels of tap; she currently teaches our Advanced Tap class. Hanna is a Master’s student at the University of Toledo.

Celeste Zirm

Tap 1, Tap 2, Tap 3 & Little Wiggles Instructor

Celeste danced with DU for 11 years and continued at Cleveland State University, where she minored in dance, studying ballet, contemporary, modern, tap, jazz, and ballroom. There, she was a member of the Dance Company and performed in Playhouse Square. She is now a Pre-K teacher at Tiffin City Schools.
