Big Dreams. Real Growth.
Dress Code
Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap dancers should wear tights and a leotard to class. They may also wear a dance skirt or shorts if desired.
Hip-Hop dancers should wear shorts and a T-shirt, or they may wear a leotard and tights.
Class Placement
Class placements are decided by Rachel and the instructors. For younger classes, students are generally placed based on age. As dancers continue onto the more advanced levels of dance, placement is based on the dancer's readiness for the more advanced class. Parents will be notified about class placement via text from Rachel.
Class Cancellation Policy
If Seneca County roads are at a Level 2 or Level 3 Snow Emergency by 12:00 PM, all evening classes will be canceled.
If Seneca County is at a Level 1 Snow Emergency, local schools have been canceled, or hazardous weather is expected, you will be notified by text message by 1:00 PM if evening classes will be canceled.
If a class is canceled due to weather or teacher absence, the missed class will be refunded at the end of the dance year through a reduction in your April and May 2027 dance tuition. This allows us to accurately account for all canceled classes throughout the season.
Students enrolled in Advanced classes and Ballet 6 may have the opportunity to make up canceled classes rather than receive a refund. Makeup classes are at the discretion of the instructor, and arrangements will be made directly with the class if necessary.
If you have already paid your tuition for the semester or year in full, please see Rachel to discuss how refunds will be handled for any canceled classes.
